The National Art Gallery of Canada
The national gallery of canada is located right downtown at 380 sussex drive just a few blocks from the byward market. The glass architecture of the gallery offers an exceptional view of the city while the gallery offers both historic, contemporary art and special exhibitions for everyone to enjoy.

The Canadian Museum of Civilization
Canadian Children's Museum
IMAX Theatre
The canadian museum of civilization is located just across the ottawa river directly across from the parliament buildings in Gatineau Quebec. Visit the grand hall and view life size native indian totem poles and loghouses or visit the children's museum for plenty of things for kids to see and do or take in a film at the IMAX theatre or just walk the grounds outside for a view of the picturesque scenery of the ottawa river and cityline of Ottawa.

Canada Aviation Museum
Visit the Canada aviation museum, a 10 minute drive located down sussex drive past the prime ministers home on rockliffe parkway to aviation parkway at the end is the museum. You will find more than 50 aircraft on exhibit tracing the history of aviation in canada and the world. You will see world war II byplanes, bush planes and even fighter jets. There are also larger aircraft on display on the large grounds of the museum outside.

Canada Science and Technology Museum
Located in the east end of Ottawa just off St Laurent boulevard about a 10 minute drive from downtown is the science and technology museum. There are some real lifesize antique trains from days gone by, marine and transportation exhibits, a space simulator, astronomy exhibits, some of canada's technological breakthroughs, and some cool rides for kids to try out and have fun with. Also find a cafeteria and museum gift shop.

The Canadian Museum of Nature
Located downtown near the rideau canal is the recently renovated canadian museum of nature, a favorite for kids. Outside on the grounds are lifesize realistic sculptures of ancient dinosaurs, sabre tooth tigers and elephants. Inside the museum you will find more than 450 species of birds, and exhibits of mammals and fossils. There is a high definition cinema for watching nature films.

Canadian War Museum
The war museum has relocated to a brand new bulding with stunning architecture just west of parliament hill in scenic lebreton flats. You will find many exhibits and much information on canada's war history. Find collections of vehicles, artillery, aircraft and more.
